Paul Mcgrath, Chairman/CEO ExxonMobil


Paul McGrath, Chairman and Managing Director, ExxonMobil Affiliate Companies in Nigeria and the Executive Secretary, Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), Engr. Simbi Wabote led professionals and stakeholders in the oil and gas industry to Port Harcourt Rivers State south south Nigeria to the commissioning of Global Process and Pipeline Services (GPPS) Limited, ultra-modern facilities in its new office complex and operations base in the city.

Wabote and McGrath were joined by other stakeholders in the industry which include Engr. Chidi Izuwah, Acting DG/CEO, Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC) and Bank-Anthony Okoroafor, Chairman, Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN) amongst others.

Since 2010, the start of the implementation of the Nigerian Oil and Gas industry content development Act has raised the share of in-country sector spending, contracting and funding which has enable local expertise and organization flourish

GPPS is the only Nigerian company focused solely on process and pipeline services with major projects completed in the deep-water applications in her product service line and has attracted the best hands in the industry from the multinationals to work for her with an expansion plan into other West Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa countries.

The high point of the event was showcasing GPPS local content prowess through facility tour of the operations base depicting its vast capabilities and machineries as a frontline oil services company on land, swamp and offshore terrains.
